I am a resident artist at Le Studio Art Space in Mordialloc. Over the past 3 years I have exhibited in shows at Le Studio as well as Amaroo House, Highway Gallery, the SandyBeach Centre and Beaumaris Yacht Club. I am fascinated by the tactile nature of texture work, which is about letting go of preconceptions and trusting in the process. I can only minimally plan what will happen through this process and I am often surprised by the results. I have always had a great love of the ocean and storms, as well as nature in general, and these are recurring images especially in my current work. |
