ARTIST BIO

Now living in Victoria on Mornington Peninsular. This is a beautiful area south of Melbourne with rolling hills, ancient T-trees, great walking beachlines plus lots of interesting cultures of shops, antique places, cafes etc.

I am drawn to paint across the beauty of nature with the signs of our progressive times. From dramatic influences of changes in our climate, prominence of a growing homeless population, to suburban street lines of lamposts, electrical wires, communication posts and even a draping pair of shoes! My work is realistic, sometimes with the beauty of natural things interupted by the harsh realism of life. Sometimes I may even add a little surrealism....juxtaposed. My work is often in acrylic, but when drawing/painting the human body unclothed, I'll use charcoal, pastel &/or watercolours.

Aware of the growth of homelessness, globally, I have chosed to dedicate all sales profits direct to my local office of Fusion, Mt Martha. Fusion is a national organisation which helps homelessness - particularly youth from 15 to 21, as well as single parents escaping from violent domestic issues (both men and women with children). If you wish to also help give them shelter and councelling, please purchase my art and check out the great work Fusion does by visiting their website.

Hope you enjoy my art as much as I do creating, Thank You:)
