Art has been a part of Inge's life from an early age. After raising a family she began taking lessons and doing workshops, initially painting with oils, later including pastels and watercolour - being interested primarily in portraiture and landscape.
She is drawn in particular to the work of the impressionists and artists like Singer-Sargent, Zorn and Sorolla. It has been their interpretation of light that fascinates and is something to aspire to.
As well as workshops with various artists who have inspired, Inge has been taught and mentored by Lee Machelak for a number of years.
