ARTIST NOTES: Purity is a painting of soft blues, silver blue, white and aqua. It has a textured surface and a light pearl sheen. The edges are painted in the pearlised blue seen in the painting. This is a calm painting. I painted this on the kitchen table while having a break at the beach. It was a warm day, the doors were open, there was a light breeze and I could hear the water lapping in the pool. I had to paint! I think the energy of this beautiful memory carries through to the painting. Exhibited at the Somers Art Fair and the Whitehorse Art Show. This painting is currently on display at Kokomo cafe and bar on warrandyte road, Warrandyte.
