ARTIST BIO

I have been an artist and have had a love of painting since my teens. Although I have had formal training, I am mostly self-taught and my work is still evolving. I studied art to "Matriculation" level at Strathmore College, then later continued my studies at Kelvin Grove College, Queensland University.

The human form, flora and romance capture my imagination. I am inspired by the Impressionists and their use of colour and light, but also admire the contemporary artists such as Canadian, Bobbie Burgers and Russion Impressionists, Mstislav Pavlav and Ivan Stravinsky.

My paintings are mainly acrylic, but I have also dabbled in pastels. I have been in various local art shows both in Melbourne and Perth and have sold several works.
