I grew up in a outer Melbourne suburb in late 60s 70s 80s very lucky to be able to play in the large amount of bushland we were lucky. We didnt have a tv for about 8 years we did a lot of reading which was great. In 1985 HSC I studied art apprectation and did craft as practical. I had my first painting lessons around early 2000's and enjoyed it . I started painting just about every day about 15 years ago. I have been to a variety of art classes and demonstrations including Australian Artist Kevin Boucher and Paul Magosy. I love the beach and the bush all of which inspires me. All my work starts with a blank canvas then i sketch and add paint. I study the colour contrast in nature at different times of day and seasons. I have worked in catering, cleaning, overseas bank teller, support worker and obtained a advances diploma in community development/social science |
